I was a poster at the CodeRanch and my experience there was very poor - I drew to myself a lot of bullies, so-called experts, who can't program. I didn't want them, but they were just around me.
So they say, "We won't program for you. You have to learn programming, yourself."
Edited after Supermod's reply: Why should I want someone to program for me? I expect only that the codes which I post be run and the errors pointed out! In a way that I learn.
Why should I join a forum as a newbie, if I knew how to program, myself? I would, but not as a newbie, but as a helper, gradually building up my reputation!
I posted a supposedly easy problem(for experts) at coderanch, but no tangible solutions were posted, not even indications! I posted the complete codes, but the experienced programmers did not even bother to run the codes on their systems to see where the program failed. Or so they said! They said they were experts, so they could identify faults merely by looking!
I have since solved the problem myself! And found out that the stalwarts there did not even come close to solving the issue.
Hope my stay here will be pleasant, and there are good programmers here! Once I have gathered experience I shall contribute by helping back others!

Rajib
