which is better jdialog or joptionpane?
and when to use each one?
Both are useful tools. JOptionPane dialogs provide ready-made GUI interfaces that can be used to communicate simple messages and gather simple inputs and button-click responses. When those aren't enough, JDialogs can be used. There isn't a clean line that divides when one should be used over the other, but you'll develop your own, based primarily (I believe) on personal preference.
