    Default GUI design decision

I am working on a simulator in java...I want my application to RUN as follows
    1) When a user run my simulator a Window displays(Say Window A) with 2 tabs a)Simulation b)Run Server
    2) When user clicks run server a Window (Say Window B)opens and my server runs in a separate frame
3)Then user clicks simulation and a separate windows displays (Say Window C) with different simulation controls
Now i could not decide that whether Window A should be a Frame or Dialogue or anything else...also ,should Window B and Window C a JFrames or not ....

Using JDialogs for child interfaces gives you flexibility that a JFrame does not. Ultimately, use what works best for what you're doing.
