    Default Looking for people interested in joining a new Open Source game project.

    Whether you're a professional Java developer, or someone with just a little bit of background knowledge in Java, or even someone who doesn't know anything about Java, please either PM me or email me --> worsewicked@yahoo.co.uk to join in on this new project. It could either be an opportunity to just get stuck in to an open source project, or an opportunity to start learning Java, or both!

    It was created for Static's Challenge: Static's Challenge | Competition at it's best

    I've decided now that I would like to continue with its development.

    Since I'm a bit of a novice with programming, and this was my first real project in Java that I completed, I would really appreciate any help I can get. I haven't had any official education in programming, but I've managed to teach myself a fair amount and learn from YouTube and other talented programmers.

    Just to help your following a tad bit, I'd advise you to use sites such as GitHub to host your code, as it's just so good for keeping code, and puts everyone's mind at ease in terms of viruses etc.
    Best of luck.

    SF and GitHub both have their own style, both of whom can undertake what you need doing very well.
    In terms of figures, GitHub has surpassed SF in popularity, so make of that what you will.

    Here's a quote from SF themselves about GitHub's popularity;
    They’ve had some great ideas and have executed them flawlessly. They have made Git the number one VCS used by software devs. Most importantly, they have helped open source grow, and helped open source projects be more successful, and really that’s all we care about. Many people use us together; GitHub for collaboration, and SF.net for distribution, since our end-user interface is a little more friendly to the non-techies. Really it just comes down to using whatever tools work best for you and your team, and we totally understand that. So from SF to GitHub– High five!.
    Myself, I'd advise GitHub for you, but each to their own.
