Image comparison
is the any algorithm available to compare images being taken by an indoor camera to any available in a database to verify the image?
example:
if i want to identify that a the image approaching a door is a child, is the any algorithm to determine that and not just any object?

Is there an algorithm? Yes. What you're talking about is called image classification, and there are a ton of algorithms that do just that.
What have you tried? What has google told you?
This isn't exactly a trivial task, so if you aren't even sure how to start, you might want to start with something smaller.
