I've been using JCreator for the past 2 years and as of this year I will be introduced to Eclipse at university. From your personal point of view, are there any major differences between the two and if so what are they?

Since you're familiar with JCreator, you can install Eclipse and then find Eclipse manuals, user guides, Wiki, tutorials, etc. online and compare them yourself.
