Anyone got viruses with the last few updates of NetBeans?
I updated 50% before my connection timed out and then it crashed (Netbeans), PC was showing signs, I scanned and I found about 8 and now Netbeans wont work. :/

I don't use NetBeans, i'm sure if you re download it from suns website you will find it is virus free and that a different virus attacked the files once you had installed it previously.
Chris
The last download I had in weeks was Netbeans and from sun's site. Signs where there about 2-3 hours after Netbeans update, and NetBeans is unusable at all right after restarting it after the update!
Hmm very strange.
Want my advise, swap to a real IDE.
Eclipse.org home

This is the link where i downloaded it Welcome to NetBeans. It's the real thing right?
What IDE would you recommend?
ECLIPSE!! ftw!
Yes, that is the real netbeans website.
You will want to make sure that the virus you have isn't jumping from another source to Netbeans as many viruses do this sort of thing (exploiting weaknesses in certain programs)
seems like we've got quite a few Eclipse users here.
Do you have a log of what viruses they were?

No, sorry!
Do a full scan and run Malwarebytes
I did quiet a while ago, some credit goes to Kaspersky though.
