What versions of software are you using?
Here is what I see:EclipseFileNewWD.png

I'm using the following:
Eclipse IDE for Enterprise Java and Web Developers (includes Incubating components)
Version: 2024-03 (4.31.0)
Build id: 20240307-1437
What options are on the File / New menu list? Mine has Java Project.

Am new to this forum. Do you know how to attach an image to a post? It maybe easier if I can attach the image of what I'm seeing.
When it works (Not working for me right now)
Click on Go Advanced and then Manage Attachments

Thanks for responding back. Unfortunately, going to advanced and then manage attachements is not working. I'm looking into compiling as best as I can via text.
Here is what it looks like from my eclipse:

I see lots of versions of Eclipse. Mine is very old.
Does this version look better for java development:

Yes, I think there are multiple versions of the eclipse IDE and perhaps there is another one that is better for what you want to do.
I downloaded and installed from the zip version: eclipse-java-2024-09-R-win32-x86_64.zip
The version info:
Eclipse IDE for Java Developers (includes Incubating components)
Version: 2024-09 (4.33.0)
Build id: 20240905-0614

So, I have the new version of eclipse that was recommended, it is the 2024-09 version. Sorry if this question is very basic - I've never used eclipse. So, is starting a new java project as simple as it looks, I would go to File > Project > Then navigate to the Java folder? Then, that's it?
Have you tried searching on the internet for examples? For example, I found this:
