Default NEW WITH JAVA AND THIS FORUM

Hi All, I am Dipo Elegbede but wish to be referred to as mjava for the purpose of this Forum. I won't take offence though if you call me Dipo. I'm new at Java but very enthusiatic about learning it. I want to start doing java things as soon as possible.
I hope to make the very best use of this forum as I equally hope to get as much assistance and encouragement.
Right away, I have already started reading books and writing little codes around Hello World, the programmers' incartation. I am currently using textpad though I have eclipse and netbeans. I want to move to netbeans but dont know how to use it.
Please can anyone do me this favour of taking me through using netbeans in the simplest language possible?
Thank You for putting up this great forum as I await responses.
I have gone ahead to join the group on facebook. I hope the admin guys can grant the necessary per its.
    Thanks once again.

Honestly, I would start with Eclipse. It's a little confusing at first, but it becomes natural soon. If you have any questions about it you can post a thread. (or send me a message)
