Com based component project using Java
Hi All,
Can you provide how to do a COM based component project....As you know i am developing a product by using a SDK which is in C,C#,VB.Net where i dont have any idea about those.
When i contacted the Tech Support they advised to create a sample COM based component project using Java,if i sent that to them they will try to help me with their SDK.
I need your help.Please.

In order to access COM components from Java you need to use JNI. You have to write this (you need to know C/C++) or to use a generic Java/Com bridge written by somebody else. I didn't check those in a while and I have no idea if they are still maintained. There are some that you can buy (google for "Java COM bridge"). I remember the JACOB project but you have to see if it is still maintained and how it works.
