Cool Energy information on network simulation

I implemented a BitTorrent simulation, using Peersim simulator. Now I want to measure energy consumption. Is there any idea how to do it? Or a class maybe to use?

Also I have an idea based on (node) hops, how could I implement it?

I would be grateful for any help you can provide!

Where does the java programming get involved with this problem?

I hope there is a java class to get the energy consumption automatically, or to measure the hops.

Where would there be anyone that would write a class to do what you are looking for?
