    Hello Progmuch,

Welcome to the Java Programming Forums!

The best place to start is at the official Sun Java tutorials website:

    The Java™ Tutorials

Trail: Getting Started (The Java™ Tutorials)

You will learn loads from this site!!

If you are looking for a good IDE then I suggest Eclipse - Eclipse.org home

If you get stuck with any of the Sun tutorials then post back here and we will help you out.

There are some code snippets in our Tips & Tutorials forum:

Java Tips & Tutorials - Java Programming Forums

I look forward to hearing back from you...

Why are you resurrecting a post that is 3 years old, only to post a link to your own site?

We've been tolerant of you posts thus far, but the more you post and the more old posts you resurect, the more indicative your posts are of spam.
