Thread: java programming 2 project

hi, i am new here .
recently my college need me to do a project but i have no idea what title i have to choosee
can anyone help me to give some opinion?
i need to pass up the proposal by next friday.

Project Instructions:
You are required to build a system in JAVA programming language which includes the following parts:

1. At least THREE classes. One of the classes plays the role as super-class of the next two classes. Draw the UML diagram to show the is-a relation.
2. Your testing program must implements serializable interface. Use serialize technique to write your object values into a text file and then deserialize the content from text file for further processing.
Reminder: Don’t forget to use the exception handling in your program while open the text file.
3. Your program must connect to the database (Either MySQL or Microsoft Access).
4. Create the GUI for your project and connect all the classes and objects which you created in part 1 and display the result in GUI instead of command prompt.

Part 1(Proposal Writing):

Write a proposal which includes the following:
a) A paragraph of introduction of your proposed system.
b) List at least THREE classes where one of them will be the super-class of the next two classes. Draw an UML diagram that shows the is-a relation of your classes.
c) Design the database of your system. Draw the class diagram to represent your tables in database.
