Hi
My application is using Java 1.5.0-b64 version. I know this is version 1.5.0 build 64. But I want to know that whether it is the first release of jdk 1.5.0 or it is the last release of jdk 1.5.0. If it is last release, what is the update version?

Hi
My application is using Java 1.5.0-b64 version. I know this is version 1.5.0 build 64. But I want to know that whether it is the first release of jdk 1.5.0 or it is the last release of jdk 1.5.0. If it is last release, what is the update version?
In this example there is no update version. This is the very first release of 1.5.0 - a version long since deprecated and unsupported.
I downloaded a newer version of the 1.5 JDK and got:
> java -version
java version "1.5.0_22"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_22-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 1.5.0_22-b03, mixed mode)
Note that this is "1.5.0_22" - the build number is irrelevant.
