    Default Beginning Java

    hi guys , I hav learnt C completely and i m interested in coding . I wanted to learn Java and as I m new to this language , please advise how should i start learning Java . which are good books i must refer and how much time any person normally takes to learn and master Java?Also sugest me which are the good projects 1 does in Java programming. :-)

    There are various online tutorials for learning Java.

    The one I usually refer people to is provided by Oracle, the maintainers of the Java language: The Java Tutorials.

    It took me a few years to "master" Java, though I'm still learning more about Java even to this day. This is highly dependent on how dedicated you are and how well you can comprehend the material. Some take longer, some shorter. The beginning is definitely the hardest.

    What kind of projects do you want to do? This is really up to you. Find something that interests you, whether it be games development, web development, desktop apps, etc. I use Java mainly for scientific and mathematical computing.

    I would start <-- here --> as this website provides hundreds of beginner java tutorials, download Netbeans or Eclispe as your main IDE, and begin programming!
