Here is my program, which currently runs and gives me the results I want accept for one thing.

The age output has two letters in the output. I am using the joda time libraries. I have read as much as I can find on this and can not figure out how to format the output to drop the letters. Any help would be great, and thank you for your time.

See what your favorite search engine can find, I am not familiar with joda myself.
You could format the string before setting it to the label but that is more of a workaround than a fix.

I have been researching an answer for hours, combing through search engines and found a work around for now. Which is formatting the string like you suggested.
