jsp = like php
ee = no idea
j2ee = next version of ee?
asp = uses javascript

can some one tell me the different between them?

JSP is a java server page. Basically an html page that you can imbed java calls into. The java is executed on the server side then sent to the client. This is a handy way of taking data from your server classes and building your html page from. You can dynamically build your page and add in all of your data all with java.
EE and J2EE are just ways of saying Java Enterprise Edition. It is the java web framework usually using a 3 tiered architecture like MVC (model, view, controller).
ASP is basically Microsoft's version of JSPs although they fundamentally work a bit differently. If you are using Java then you are prolly going to use JSPs instead of ASP.
