i have two large text files each one containg around the size is 4gb i need to know which are updated and which new rows by comparing both of them...please leave ur post as soon as possible...

wow a 4gb text file have you tried anything yet? im still amazed by a 4gb text file lol
Given you've mentioned nothing about what you've tried, or even if this is a java question, I'll point you to the following:
