In what sense are you using it that you think it might be your issue? Are you calling it multiple times in a short span of time?
You ask the question as though you've heard that it does or have been told that it does. What's your motivation for asking? What's the context? What kind of application? What performance is required? How is the required performance measured?
It's impossible to give "valuable suggestions" or even simple answers the way you've posed the question.
