    Default Application build process

    Please I need a summary of the steps involve in building java application.
    I have my source code, already compiled but I don't know the next step to make it run on a particular device. I know of emulator but I need more information. Thanks

    Take a look at the Hello World part of the tutorial:
    "Hello World!" for Microsoft Windows (The Java™ Tutorials > Getting Started > The "Hello World!" Application)

    You need the JRE to be able to execute a java class.

    So, how do I make .apk or .jar of the application after compilation?

    That's usually done by the IDE.
    I use the jar command to build my jar files. See the jar section of the java SE doc:
