    Please ask your questions in the appropriate forum.

    The tips & tricks forum is strictly used for tips/tricks you have to offer, not tips/tricks you want others to provide for you.

    Unless cisco provides a generic Java interface for connecting with their router, it is very likely you can't do such a task in pure Java, and if there's no software-side control of the router's usage at all (say, it can only be turned on/off by a physical switch), then there is probably no solution other than programming some source of mechanical arm to flip the switch for you.
