Default Save data entered upon reopening

hey i was wondering if you could do something with your program or my programming software (eclipse) to allow it to save information entered without erasing everything and starting over every time i run the program.I've seen it done before but have no idea how to go about it, im writing a program that stores my business partners information and its 95% done can someone help me so it saves his information each time i start the program without editing the code to store his infromation.

You might have to be more specific. Saving preferences can be done with simple IO, saving a preferences file when the user exits and reading that file when the program starts. You could also use the Preferences class. See Java IO
