    Unhappy Newbie: seem confused with Java

    I'm learning to code in Java. For two weeks now I'm still trying to understand the syntax. When I'm I going to start writing programs, I think I need someone as a guide. All these materials don't seem to be explanatory. I want to learn, but it's looking difficult.

    Any advice? Thanks
