Default Characters per line in Eclipse

    Hi,
I'm doing an assignment which requires me to use no more than 80 characters per line of code. Is there a class in java that will allow me to do this or someway of setting preferences in Eclipse? I will loose marks if I go over the limit so any help would be great.

What does this have to do with the thread you've posted it in?
This is an IDE question, not a question about java Theory.

Sorry I'm new to this forum and programming in general and I didn't realize. I will go to the other thread and see if I can find my answer there and if not I will post the same question in the correct thread. Forgive my ignorance.
