HI! I am learning java programming along with jsp and servlets. Could anyone help with simple web application projects using JSP and servlets so that I could have an idea of usign servlets and JSP in real time.

Not sure what kind of "help" you're asking for, but I suggest you search for a tutorial. There may even be one here in the Tutorials section.
there is no tutorial provided for jsp and servlets in this forum. I need a simple project which uses JSP and servlets and with some database as well.

I prefer to help others by showing them how they can help themselves. I can use Google. I can find the same JSP/servlet tutorials and projects that I found interesting and useful when I was first learning. You might not find them similarly interesting or useful, and what good would it do you to do work for you that you're capable of doing yourself?
Making no apparent effort and/or asking broad, ambiguous questions causes a poster to look lazy, seeking only to be handed the answer, whether a website or source code. Those posts are typically just ignored.
On the other hand, someone may see your post and be excited about showing you similar topics that they're working and share those with you.
