    Default Greetings

    Howdy All,

I decided the best way to learn java was to try to actually write an application I wanted rather than buying a 'how to book'...

after bumbling along for a few weeks I'm beginning to doubt my wisdom .. but I am stubborn so now the questions start and I apologise in advance for them.

My current road block is a linked list issue that i am going to post in the Collections forum.. not sure if that is the correct place for it but i saw another linked list question in there.

Oh yeah, and if anyone can recommend a good 'how to' book...

    chiz,

    Shade

Hi, Shade! Welcome to the forums! I've found that these forums are more valuable than any book. There are many very experienced programmers here that can help with nearly any problem you have. Hopefully you find them as helpful as I have!
