Thread: Hello, Why i want to learn Java

I hope to one day be able to communicate with Java fluently.
I was inspired by Mojang, the creators of Minecraft.
They had a charity event where they created a game in java in one weekend.
The end result was a horrible game that was difficult to play.
Eventually people started fixing all the bugs to make the game quite enjoyable.
I found people on youtube who were making videos on the game.
I made friends with these people and we decided to start learning Java together as a group to perhaps some day make our own games.
We are green to the bone and need all the help we can get.
