    Post New to Java Programming...

    I am a new programmer who is trying to become proficient in Java programming so that I can teach it at a local Community College. I am currently going for my Masters and am looking for someone who can mentor me in Java as I don't know many programmers and the ones I do know don't know Java at all. I have a background in C/C++ but don't know it at an expert level either. I am wanting to really grow my programming skills.

    I appreciate any helpful guidance or support being a new programmer in Java.
