Am enjoying my TDY assignment to this quaint little planet in this quaint little galaxy.
So far, I am finding that Earth computers are easy, but I am guessing that I still have some few things to learn, and I think the best way to learn might be to tune into this forum from time to time.
I have observed that one of the greatest things about this forum is that, if I innocently violate some protocol, there are a number of Earthlings standing by to jump down one of my throats and make me feel so bad that I am not likely to make the same mistake(s) again. That is, of course, the most time-efficient way of learning. Three thumbs up for that!
I have discovered that my third arm is particularly useful in manipulating the rather primitive trackball input device while keeping both of the other hands on the other primitive input device, a keyboard. Being a beginner, I have found that I can only type the equivalent of 300 earth (English) words per minute, but I'm working on it, so my future posts can, perhaps, be somewhat more verbose.
That's all for now.
Cheers!
