    Default Hello!

Hi, I'm Kristen. I'm fifteen years old and am (going to be) a Sophomore in American high school. My native tongue is English and I have lived in the US for most of my life. My fascination with technology began in late 2010 to early 2011 when my mom passed down her iPod touch 2G to me. It was very slow so I jailbroke it and changed some files so it would be a tiny bit faster. My adventure continued on to January 2012 when I was given my first Android device. It was rooted in a week and had custom ROMs on it the day it was rooted... I dabbled with Android for a year or so (up until very recently).

I decided to take up Java a couple of weeks ago and got a Java for Dummies book (haha). I also reinstalled Linux on my computer and am using Geany as my IDE. I am taking my first year of programming in school this school year and we will be learning Java, however I want a headstart (so I could teach myself and use my class as sort of a review type thing, ahaha).

Well that's it I guess... hopefully I won't be too shy to ask questions here!

EDIT: My username is a reference to a System of a Down song, btw. c:
