New to Java and this Forum

Hi Java fans
I'm a 56 year old brit currently learning html,css,php/MYSQL and of course javascript hoping one day in the near future to find myself employment. I know it's a bit late in the day but there's nothing like learning something new and with all the talent and sharing that is on offer today due to the internet it makes learning that much more fun.
In the days before the internet (yes they did exist) studying something new was not so easy and also sometimes expensive. Over the last year since I have been involved in Webdesign and web applications I have not paid a penny for tuition of which I am very thankful for, specially to the input of members on different forums.
