I am fairly new at Java, I've been trying to get it down pack. I've been looking for a good user friend community to learn and donate to. If any of you guys have any Java projects to work on HMU

Welcome! Requests for help with projects come along occasionally, but you'll find more opportunities browsing the public source file repositories and offer to join one of those projects that sound interesting to you. Be willing to join on the ground floor, maybe doing documentation or other project management functions, but realize those are great ways to learn about the project and the others involved. I don't think you can ever be sure how active those projects are or how much longer they'll be active, but that seems to always be the case.
