    Default My introduction

    Hello everyone.

    I'm a new member here and this is my introductory post.
    My name is Ricardo, I'm a graphic designer and I want to become a proficient programmer. I'm currently learning Java on my own with the help of the Java How to Program 9th Edition book. So far I'm doing decently but I'm still pretty green, so I thought I should join a community to ask for assistance when I get stuck on an exercise or when trying to understand a concept.

    I just wanted to drop a line and say hi to everyone. See you on the boards!
