    Thumbs up New Dude

    Hello World,

So I'll keep this brief because I know you get a lot of these. I have a history of working on computers and doing IT for a couple of years now. I wound up deciding that I should get into the world of programming. I started with HTML and wound up designing a few websites for some businesses, but decided that I needed to move on to something more complicated. I wound up working with Python for a few months and felt comfortable with it, but decided that my time was better spent using something more universal and capable. A professor I know suggested Java, so here I am.

    Hello! Welcome to the forum!

Java is a great choice - and is more or less where the I.T world is moving to slowly which is managed language development.
