    Talking Hello World!

    Hi everyone!

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Calvin. I'm 30 years old. For the past 6 years, I've owned and operated a sandwich shop in Monrovia, CA and now I've decided to transition out of that.

I use to write basic quiz programs in VB 3.0 using the simplest syntax as a kid. I loved it! Don't know why I stop, but here I am 18 years later.

I've sold my restaurant and I am going back to school to pursue my Masters in Computer Science (completely different from my undergrad studies; Business Admin) in Software Development/Engineering.

I've just finished taking a basic Java course and I'm loving it since. I have a long journey ahead of me, but at least I'll be doing something I love.

    See you guys around

    Hello! Welcome to the forum

I also began with BASIC myself - went through several languages
(ADA, C, C++ C#) before finding a home in Java.

    Good luck!
