Hi, my name is Ron. I have a lot of gray hair but when it comes to Java programming I am as green as they come. I am in the process of automating my observatory and need to learn how to write .jar command line files to control several devices. I have studied some information from the Oracle site and can see it could be quite involved, but it all looks interesting and I enjoy a good challenge. Attached is a pix of the observatory that includes the visual scope (center), and the robotic mount/astrograph (left).

    Thanks for taking a look.

    Ron
