    Default Hello everyone

Introduction: Father of three girls one of which is enrolled in CompSci AP her freshmen year of HS and they are learning Java. I myself am in IT (LAN/WAN/wireless and VoIP). My kid has asked me to help her with the CompSci course. She has her hands full with pre AP courses and getting adjusted to HS life. So we been learning together. We go over the teachers notes then she has lab assignments to do. I do the labs on my PC and she on hers. Its been fun to learn something new and see how her results compare to mine. Always the same results (working lab) but done differently. I even made a paper, scissor, rock, lizard, spock program. Pretty good for only doing a few labs.

Any ways I am here to search for help on a lab that has had me stumped for 3 days now. Did a few searches lots of good info here but the examples of the solutions I found so far seem outside the teachers provided notes. (to complicated for what he has taught.) Going to create a post about it now if you can help please do.
