I am a retired network engineer with a degree in CS. My only professional programming was in assembly language for about three years in the late 1970's. I have been helping folks in Java in an alternate forum. I have been using Java since version 1.2 (old nomenclature), and am self taught by reading books and just trying stuff. Glad to be here.

    Welcome Jim.
Your help will be appreciated. I'm going on vacation for a few weeks so you will have the place all to yourself.
