    Question Multiple User's Data

    I am working on a program that has Multiple users, using it at the same time.

    Loading and saving data is not the issue, my problem is how can each user have it's own unique data while they are online .... constantly reading - writing data from file is a huge resource hog.
    Lets simplify things and say each person has:

    Integer Health;
    Double Money;
    String Rank;
    Integer Experience;

    If the data needs to be shared between users, use a SQL database of some sort, communicating via JDBC
