Hello. I am a federal contractor that is working on a DoD (USMC) contract. Our team develops web applications for the Marine Corps. We are in need of a Jr Java Programmer to develop and maintain our applications. The position is a full-time job with benefits (Health/Vision/Dental group plans, 401K with Match, SPP) and completely remote. The salary range is between $50,000-$60000 per year. The most important requirements are that you must have an Active Secret Security clearance and either have a CompTIA Security + certification or be able to earn your CompTIA Security + within a couple of weeks of hire. We'd prefer someone with work experience and experience with Spring Framework as well as Maven Repositories; however, seeing that we must have someone with Secret Clearance and Sec + cert, we understand that we can't be picky. If you are interested and can meet these requirements, please PM me so that we can discuss this further. I am not the hiring manager; however, I am a data architect on the team and our PjM (hiring manager) has asked me to reach out for help. We our looking for an immediate hire (ASAP).
Edit: The job is considered 100% remote; however, every now and then you may be asked to travel to the base for a meeting/conference or picking up new equipment. in this case, all travel is covered by the company and you will receive per diem. You will usually get a choice of flying or driving (rental or personal) to our base (in South Georgia, US), but this is not a frequent thing.
Edit Edit: If you are interested, I can help you tailor your resume. We use Oracle Rac (11G) as our database and I can explain the basic concepts of our applications.
TL;DR: Need Jr Java Developer that must have Secret Security Clearance and Sec + cert. Other certs and having a college degree is awesome but not necessary.
