I'm looking for a good Java programmer for a contract - a self-contained job which can be done remotely (although we're in Boston and you can come in if you're local) and for which you would be paid a per-project single sum. We have a Java front end that collects some info from the user and then runs some ecological simulations in an agent modeling platform called NETLOGO. The models access a hardware random number generator (over USB), and produce some data files (which may involve some communication back to the Java code). We need someone to look at the code and make about a half-dozen tweaks/changes to it; some are very simple and others are pretty involved. If you are interested, contact me at michael.levin@tufts.edu and after signing a short nondisclosure agreement, I'll send you the code and the list of things we need changed. We can then decide on a price and other conditions.
