How to match each line in a file with some predefined pattern?
What are the contents of the lines in the file? You would need to know that to make a regex to match the lines.

Hi,
Thanks for reply.
File contains simple algorithms.Actually I want to convert algorithm to c code.I have given a template for writing algorithm, according to which i will match the algorithmic statements and translate it to corresponding c code.Like if its "read a b" i will convert it to scanf() statement. For this my idea is to go for pattern matching and then convert it.It would be helpful if you can suggest some idea.I will try out.
