I think you are the same person who earlier asked similar question regarding HashMap. Now you are asking the same question on HashSet.

Ok. Fine.
Suppose I am providing online service for finding synonyms for a given word. Its a java servlet-based web application. The user enters the word in the browser and expects the list of synonyms.
As the web request arrives, the servlet internally communicates with three real online dictionaries one by one by forwarding the user-given word. All the responses (list of synonyms for the given word) from these three online dictionaries will be stored in a HashSet object to eliminate the duplicates.
The servlet will finally send the values stored in HashSet to the browser as response.
