This is not a beginner's assignment. Are you in the wrong class? What previous programming experience do you have, Java or any other language?
Perhaps I misunderstood, and you're not a beginner. If that's the case, you should know how to get a solution started. Post that when you can and describe exactly what you need help with. We can't write it for you.
