why we donot need main in aapplet
becuse applet runs on web browser not on jvm ...jvm serch for main method while executing the program ...hence applet dont need main()
The answer in post #2 is inadequate at best. Go through Lesson: Java Applets (The Java™ Tutorials > Deployment), and pay extra attention to Methods for Milestones and Life Cycle of an Applet topics. In the future questions like this are better answered by looking through a book or by a simple Internet search.
