    Unhappy cannot find symbol for getInt(); , getString(); , getDouble();

    Preparedget.jpgStatement ps = conn.prepareStatement("insert into employee values(?,?,?)");
    int eno=ps.getInt("empo");
    String ename=ps.getString("ename");
    double sal=ps.getDouble("sal");

    The PreparedStatement interface does not define any of those methods so the compiler will flag there usage as an error.
    Is the code missing a class reference that defines those methods?
