First program
Hi all. I'm attending java class for beginners.. For my grade I have to make a program. I want to make a program which will take measures (values) of an item, calculate if measures are acceptable and decide if items status is ok, not ok or require repairs.
Now i want to make item as a class and measures as its parameters,but I want program to read these values from a file. Amy advice how to do this?
This is just first of my problems, sorry

Start by making a list of the steps the program needs to take to solve the problem.
Work through the logic of the steps to make sure it will work.
When the logic seems right, starting with the first item in the list, code, compile and test it.
When that works, move to the next item in the list.
