    Default Java 1.8.0_171 supports Oracle 19c?

    Hi Guys,

    We are planning to upgrade the Oracle from 11.2 to 19c, Our application run on JDK 1.8.0_171. Can you please confirm jdk 1.8 will supports Oracle 19c, If it supports means is there any limitations? Please provide your thoughts regarding this query.

    Java and Oracle, although currently owned by the same company, are two different products and don't have a dependency on each other. I think what you need to research is if your current libraries are compatible with the new version or Oracle.

    For example, if you're using Hibernate you should check if there is a driver for version 19c, etc.
