how do i import scanner and other classes to java
The import statement allows coding just the class name vs having to code the full package name.
For example to declare a Scanner class object without an import statement requires the full class name:With the import statement:java.util.Scanner scnr = ...the code can use just the class name:import java.util.Scanner;Scanner scnr = ...
